Role description:





We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Principal - Workplace Strategy, Design & Global Operations to lead strategic workplace engagements and oversee operational excellence across our global client portfolio. This role is ideal for a senior leader with deep expertise in workplace strategy, design thinking, change management, and global programme operations, who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, and innovation-driven environment.



As a Principal, you will be responsible for shaping workplace strategy, guiding design excellence, and driving operational performance through governance, risk management, and stakeholder alignment. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams and senior stakeholders to deliver transformative workplace solutions that align with business goals, enhance employee experience, and support sustainability and performance.


Role accountabilities:




Lead strategic workplace projects from visioning through implementation across diverse sectors and geographies. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights on workplace trends, hybrid working, space optimisation, and organisational change. Oversee global operations delivery, ensuring consistency, quality assurance, and alignment with client KPIs. Develop and deliver workplace strategies, including utilisation studies, scenario planning, benchmarking, and future workplace modelling. Implement governance structures, risk mitigation strategies, and assurance processes across programmes and projects. Collaborate with design, architecture, and engineering teams to ensure strategic alignment and design excellence. Drive business development through client relationships, proposal development, and thought leadership. Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of innovation, inclusion, and continuous learning. Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and forums.

Qualifications & Experience:




15+ years of experience in workplace strategy, design consultancy, or global programme operations. Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Urban Planning advanced degree preferred. Proven leadership in delivering complex, multi-site workplace programmes and managing global teams. Strong understanding of workplace analytics, change management, and design integration. Expertise in governance, risk management, and operational oversight. Experience working with multinational clients and cross-functional teams. Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills. Familiarity with sustainability frameworks (LEED, WELL, BREEAM) and digital workplace tools.
