This Position reports to:


Principal Engineer

In this role, you will be responsible for making and controlling changes to internal drawings and build documentation such as manufacturing instructions (for operators in the factory) and software update control for currently manufactured products as well as configuration of build and test documentation and software control for new product introduction (NPI) Projects. You will be expected to make controlled changes using the change request system and will attend regular cadence meetings regarding the change requests to be able to prioritise the order of changes from BI Dash boards and other data during these meetings such as changes required via the Quality Team and Product managers.





Configuration and amendments to bill of materials using SAP and drawing amendments using 3D Solidworks and 2D AutoCad will also be required. All drawings when amended and changed and ready for release are controlled using the Windchill document repository system which you will use as part of the configuration control of all Documents. Each day, you will ensure effective version control and status tracking. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting colleagues with advice and guidance on documentation control issues.

Your Role and Responsibilities




In this role, you'll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.



Work model: #Onsite*
Managing documentation and ensuring they are correct and retained in compliance with the company's/project's procedures, including format, receipt, registration, number, filing, recovery, and the issue of documents to the Principal Documentation control specialist for Formal checking and release. Assisting in the preparation of the NPI project document list, periodically updating and issuing the document list as well as attending NPI Cadence Meetings to give progress updates to NPI Document activities. Contributing to process enhancements related to document management control and applying the document management system efficiently. Following the documentation control management system and document controls process.

Qualifications for the Role



HNC/HND (or equivalent) qualification in Engineering, demonstrating a strong technical foundation and understanding of core engineering principles. 3-5 years of relevant engineering experience Skilled in the use of key software tools, including: Microsoft office, SAP, SolidWorks (3D CAD) and AutoCAD (2D CAD) and Windchill A proactive and innovative mindset, with the ability to take ownership of tasks, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive positive change within a technical environment.
