The successful candidate will work within the PSL Department and will be registered as a Modern Apprentice. You will study towards a nationally recognised Scottish Vocational Qualification certificate which will involve structured on and off the job training.

Key Responsibilities:
Complete Modern Apprenticeship in Press - Flexographic Printing Pathway to eventually run state of the art printing presses - RCS & Omet
Complete relevant units set by Attain Training (external training provider) in a timely manner and ensure all records and logbooks of work performed are maintained
Ensure quality checks are carried out efficiently
General machine maintenance
What We're Looking For:
Computer literate
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills
Be self-motivated and able to use initiative
Be an effective communicator, both written and verbal
Be computer literate
Have good attention to detail
Be able to work unsupervised and able to resolve problems/identify and implement improvements
