Job Purpose

:

The purpose of the role is to monitor the printing process to ensure that it runs smoothly and efficiently.

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsible for daily equipment servicing including health and safety, for planned preventative maintenance, calibration and servicing of all plant and equipment, building services and grounds maintenance. Responsible for maintaining records of all maintenance activities and ensuring corrective actions identified internally or through external audits regarding maintenance are addressed. Responsible for Health and safety audits, on-going staff training regarding health & safety and a member of the Hazard Analysis team. Carrying out the print operations and responsible for the quality of what is produced. Monitor the quality of product during the print run and flag non-conformities for removal during the finishing stages. Complete and sign off all the relevant quality documentation.

Person Specification - Printer (Flexo and Digital)

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA (demonstrate on application form)

Must have sound technical experience/knowledge of running Flexo presses upto 8 colours. Including reverse printing, de-lam/relam, peel and reseal, running product to turrets etc.

Knowledge how to problem solve issues on flexo presses.

Ensure all standard operating procedures are adhered to (e.g. PPE, health and safety, hygiene)

Maintain good housekeeping procedures

Inspection of printed products for print clarity, colour accuracy, conformance to job specification and customer details
