The Role
This position offers an exceptional opportunity for a motivated, technically adept professional who enjoys hands-on work, troubleshooting, and delivering top-tier customer service. As a UK Technical Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing our premium print finishing and packaging machinery. You will represent Encore Machinery while travelling to customer sites across the UK and, occasionally, overseas. Your goal will be to build trusted relationships with our clients and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:
Technical Service Support:
Provide remote and on-site support for our machinery, including installation, delivery, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
Customer-Focused Solutions:
Deliver a first-class service experience by using diagnostic skills to identify and resolve technical issues quickly, ensuring minimal downtime.
Expert Problem Solving:
Diagnose and solve technical problems, including electrical and mechanical issues as well as software faults, often remotely.
Training & Knowledge Transfer:
Conduct technical training sessions for customers, partners, and team members.
Inventory Management:
Manage your vehicle's stock to optimise first-time fix rates and minimise losses.
Collaboration:
Build strong relationships with overseas manufacturers and suppliers to ensure effective communication and execution of technical solutions.
Customer Engagement
: Support sales initiatives by participating in machine demonstrations, trade shows, and events, contributing to customer loyalty and satisfaction.
What We're Looking For
Proven Industry Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in the print or packaging production sector, with relevant technical qualifications.
Technical Expertise:
Strong skills in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, including reading schematics, diagnosing faults, and completing repairs.
Independent & Motivated
: Ability to work autonomously, demonstrating analytical and critical thinking skills to solve complex issues.
Outstanding Communication Skills:
Comfortable engaging with clients, suppliers, and team members at all levels.
Additional Requirements:
A full, clean driving license with trailer towing capability.
