Print Production Manager

About the Role:

As our

Print Production Manager

, you'll ensure the smooth running of our print operation; from print room management to production planning and quality control. You'll lead a small team, providing hands-on leadership with forward-thinking process improvements, working closely with our Warehouse and Creative teams.

Key responsibilities include:

Overseeing all print room operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards Monitoring and maintaining machinery, materials and contracts to keep production running smoothly and efficiently. Conduct regular inspections of printed materials to ensure consistency and quality, investigating issues and implementing long term solutions. Driving continuous improvement; identifying opportunities to reduce costs, enhance workflow and adopt new technology. Supporting product development with expertise in pre-press, colour management and automation. Collaborate with the Warehouse and Operations Managers to streamline workflow across our print, mug, canvas, memorabilia and framing operations. Upholding Health & Safety standards and drive a culture of safety, teamwork and accountability. Coaching and developing your team through training, appraisals and day-to-day leadership. Producing regular performance reports and KPIs to track efficiency, waste and output.
We're looking for someone who blends technical skill, commercial awareness and creative insight. You'll be a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in excellence.

You'll need:

Proven experience in print or production management, ideally within a creative manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of digital print and dye-sublimation processes. Working knowledge of Automation Engine, Adobe Creative Cloud, and pre-press workflows. Solid understanding of colour management including ICC profiling and device calibration. Excellent organisational and communication skills Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment High attention to detail. Experience leading and developing small teams. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively
