Oxford Medical Illustration (OMI) has a fantastic opportunity for a full-time Print Room Assistant to join our award-winning design team.
Based at the John Radcliffe Hospital, you will support a professional and busy in-house design and print service, delivering high-quality print solutions to Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and external clients. This role plays a vital part in ensuring print materials are produced efficiently, accurately, and in line with brand and confidentiality standards.

Previous experience in a customer service or print production environment is essential.
Experience using digital print equipment or working in a reprographics department would be a distinct advantage.
Support the daily operations of the hospital print room under minimal supervision.
Operate high-volume multifunction print and finishing equipment (training provided).
Assist with document finishing tasks such as binding, laminating, folding, trimming and packaging.
Use workflow systems (e.g. EFI Command Workstation, Digital StoreFront) to manage and monitor print jobs.
Greet and assist customers professionally, taking accurate briefs and clarifying job requirements.
Respond to telephone and email enquiries, passing on information and escalating queries as necessary.
Perform daily maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues promptly.
Monitor stock levels and alert the Print Room Manager when supplies need replenishment.
Maintain cleanliness, safety and confidentiality standards within the print environment.
Deliver completed jobs to dispatch points within agreed timescales.
