Roseberys are seeking a diligent, enthusiastic and passionate individual to join our Limited Edition Prints & Multiples Department as an Administrator & Sale Co-ordinator. This is a full-time, in-house position within the auction rooms. It is a busy, hands-on role, ideal for someone with a proven passion for prints, multiples and modern/contemporary works on paper, and a desire to further develop their knowledge in this field.




Overview





This position supports the Head of Department in all aspects of the consignment, cataloguing and auction process, contributing to the continued growth and success of the department.



Responsibilities




Producing valuation reports and receipts Corresponding with clients pre- and post-sale Arranging delivery and collection of items Co-ordinating with other auction houses regarding transfers and valuations Providing support to the Head of Department as required Assisting with catalogue production: co-ordinating with the photographer to ensure all images are completed and accurate; liaising with the Head of Department; supporting deadline management Assisting with condition report requests Assisting with auction enquiries Receiving deliveries, unpacking, receipting, checking in items, and ensuring safe and appropriate storage Managing departmental storage areas Retrieving items from storage for cataloguing and auctions Assisting with auction setup, including liaising with the Head of Department about star lots Organising preview events Carrying out viewing and auction-day duties Assisting with re-entries and returns Managing client collections



Skills & Qualifications




Bachelor's Degree in Art History, Fine Art, or a related field preferred A proven interest--academic or practical--in prints, multiples, and modern and contemporary works on paper Experience within an auction house and a good understanding of the auction process preferred Ability to remain composed in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Driven, with a positive, can-do attitude Manual handling experience A collaborative team player willing to support the department wherever required Excellent communication and presentation skills




This is a full-time role, Monday-Friday 9-5.30pm with some weekend work required for auctions and viewings.
