experienced Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMNs)
to work across multiplePrison Healthcare Services in the North East of England
.This is an excellent opportunity for skilled RMNs to take on flexible locum work within secure environments, providing crucial mental health support to offenders.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality mental health nursing to prisoners with complex needs Conduct assessments, create care plans, and administer medications Respond to mental health crises and manage challenging behaviour Work collaboratively with prison staff, GPs, and multi-disciplinary teams Support rehabilitation and promote positive mental health outcomes
Requirements:
NMC Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
Shared Service Clearance (mandatory)
Previous experience working in a prison or secure healthcare setting
Ability to work independently in high-pressure environments Excellent communication, risk assessment, and problem-solving skillsWhat We Offer:
