The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and highly professional nurse to join our team on an ad-hoc basis. The ideal candidate will deliver clinical excellence with the discretion, attentiveness, and flexibility expected within a luxury private healthcare environment.

Core Responsibilities

Clinical Procedures

Measuring and recording vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, oxygen saturation) Venepuncture and cannulation Setting up, administering, and monitoring IV drips and infusions Administering medications (oral, intramuscular, subcutaneous, IV) Wound care, dressing changes, and suture removal Urinary catheterisation (insertion and removal) ECG recording and monitoring Blood glucose monitoring and insulin administration

Patient Care & Support

Observe and report changes in patient condition Provide patient education on medications, lifestyle guidance, and post-discharge care

Emergency & Specialised Procedures

Deliver basic life support (BLS) and assist in advanced life support (ALS) Administer oxygen therapy and nebuliser treatments Collect specimens (urine, sputum, stool, swabs, etc.)

Documentation & Coordination

Maintain accurate, thorough patient records Perform medication reconciliation and safety checks Communicate effectively with doctors and multidisciplinary teams Conduct stock checks and manage clinical stock ordering

About You

NMC registered nurse with relevant UK clinical experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Calm, professional, and adaptable -- with strong attention to detail Experience in private healthcare or concierge medicine (preferred) Recent enhanced DBS check Right to work in the UK Professional indemnity insurance (e.g., Unison, RCN)
