Private Babysitter / Childcare Assistant (Part-Time hours, 2-3 Days a Week)

I am looking for a caring, responsible, and energetic babysitter to provide a safe, nurturing, and enriched learning environment for my 3-year-old son.
This role takes place in a dedicated childcare room at my workplace.

This is a private childcare arrangement. Payment is made directly by the parent. This is not a company employment position.

About the Role

We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys engaging with young children -- not just supervising, but actively supporting learning, play, and development. My son is lively, curious, talkative, and enjoys structured activities as well as free play.

Main Responsibilities

Create a warm, safe, and stimulating childcare environment Organise and lead age-appropriate learning and play activities
(I can provide ideas and guidance - I am a teacher)

Play with him, encourage imagination, and support early learning skills Offer prepared snacks and meals (all food will be provided) Supervise indoor play and take him outdoors when suitable Maintain a tidy, safe playroom throughout the day Support his language development - he speaks well and enjoys conversation

Requirements

Good level of spoken English (essential for communication) Friendly, patient, and reliable Experience with young children is preferred Ability to plan activities and engage actively Knowledge of Arabic or Urdu is an advantage but not required (we are encouraging bilingual learning)

Schedule & Pay

2-3 days per week (part-time) Hours and exact days can be discussed

Paid directly by the parent
