You\xe2\x80\x99ll be proactively managing a portfolio of c200 Private Banking high net worth clients, providing support and investment advice on a broad range of financial matters. You\xe2\x80\x99ll be maintaining and developing your portfolio, maximising retention of existing clients and their holdings. By developing these into primary banking relationships, you\xe2\x80\x99ll effectively grow the value of the portfolio.

Achieving net portfolio growth in line with approved objectives.

Identifying, understanding, and helping clients with their changing needs.

Providing regulated investment advice to help clients meet their objectives.

Demonstrating deep understanding of wider financial affairs and financial products to ensure that knowledge is comprehensive, and client focused.

Maintaining up to date and compliant records to ensure relevant internal standards and external regulatory requirements are observed.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll bring

Investment knowledge and the required qualifications (QCF Level 4 minimum) is essential

A solid and recent track record of providing investment advice to your clients.

It would also be nice for you to have

Comprehensive knowledge of wealth structuring tools, investment approaches and application of these to high-net-worth clients.

A good knowledge and understanding of wider financial markets, with exposure to the full range of banking products and financial planning industry.

Risk management and control experience gained within Private Banking.

This role is based in Cambridge and, although you will have full control of your diary, you will be expected to engage with customers and colleagues on-site in your working week, with the flexibility to adapt to your customers\xe2\x80\x99 preferences.

Eligible for a discretionary performance-related annual bonus

We put 8% of salary into your pension, even if you don\xe2\x80\x99t contribute yourself. We\xe2\x80\x99ll pay in up to 12.5% of salary, if you contribute as well, and you can take some of our contribution in cash if you prefer.

30 days\xe2\x80\x99 holiday plus bank holidays, which increases to 31 days after 5yrs service, with the option to purchase up to 5 contractual days per year.

\xc2\xa36,000 car allowance per year
