To oversee the delivery of high quality, safe and effective care focused on improving outcomes and experiences for patients, families and carers.



Ensure safe patient care is delivered

Ensure patients receive exceptional personalised care

Lead and support a team of midwives ensuring that they have a PDR and clear achievable development plan

Ensure staff live the Trust values and tackle poor behaviour and performance

Be open, honest and transparent in all communication

Act as a clinical expert within sphere of work

Ensure effective use of all resources including staff

Ensure a culture of learning and quality improvement is embedded within clinical area
