About the Position

We're looking for a

to join a private home care setting.
In this self-employed position, you'll live with the client and offer

individualised care and companionship

, supporting them to live comfortably and safely in their own home.

What You'll Do

Help with

personal care routines

such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support with

medication reminders and administration

as required.

Prepare nutritious meals

tailored to dietary preferences and health needs. Provide

companionship and emotional support

, encouraging engagement in activities or hobbies. Carry out

light domestic tasks

to maintain a clean and comfortable home. Offer

mobility assistance

, ensuring safety and comfort when moving around. Accompany the client to

appointments or outings

when needed.

Monitor health and wellbeing

, reporting any changes promptly to family or healthcare professionals.

Your Profile

Minimum

6 months of hands-on care experience

, ideally in a live-in or domiciliary care setting. Must be

self-employed

and able to supply your

UTR number

. A caring, patient, and

empathetic personality

with strong communication skills.

Trustworthy, professional, and organised

, able to manage daily responsibilities independently. Holds a

current Enhanced DBS check

(or willing to apply).

Right to work in the UK

and

professional care references

are essential. Qualifications such as

Care Certificate in Health & Social Care

and

Moving and handling practical

are a bonus.
