We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Private Chef to provide exceptional culinary services within a private residencein Knightsbridge. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to create customised menus that cater to the client's preferences. This role involves preparing high-quality meals, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring food safety standards are maintained at all times. The Private Chef will play a vital role in delivering a personalised dining experience that exceeds expectations.
Responsibilities
Plan and prepare customised menus tailored to the client's dietary preferences and requirements
Manage all aspects of kitchen operations, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness
Work alongside the other chefs and household team, fostering a collaborative team environment
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain hygiene standards across all food preparation areas
Serve meals in an elegant and professional manner, ensuring presentation aligns with client expectations
Adapt recipes and cooking techniques to accommodate special dietary needs or restrictions
Maintain organised records of food inventories, menus, and meal plans
Occasional work in the second residence in Surrey alongside another chef
Occasional travel to work across Europe, ski resorts and yachts
Skills
Proven experience in private cheffing environments
Extensive knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene management
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional attention to detail in food presentation and service delivery
Previous experience working in a private household is highly desirable
Ability to adapt quickly to client preferences while maintaining high-quality standards
Good communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members
Previous chalet, villa or yacht experience would be beneficial
Package:
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shifts: A rota with 2 x other chefs, with a pattern of 7am-3pm, 2pm-10pm, weekends 8am-10pm
