Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Private Client Solicitor (2 years PQE) or qualified CILEX Lawyer to join our small legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in private client law, with a focus on delivering exceptional service to clients. This role requires excellent communication skills, a high level of IT proficiency, and outstanding organisational abilities to manage a diverse caseload effectively.

Duties

Provide expert legal advice and guidance on matters including wills, trusts, probate, estate planning, financial remedy, and, divorce and child arrangement matters.. Manage client relationships with professionalism and empathy, ensuring their needs are met throughout the legal process. Draft and review legal documents accurately and efficiently. Conduct client meetings to discuss their requirements and provide tailored solutions. Liaise with third parties such as financial institutions, tax authorities, and other solicitors as necessary. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations affecting private client matters. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and best practices within the firm.

Requirements

Qualified solicitor or CILEX Lawyer with relevant experience in private client law (2 years PQE). Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with clients and colleagues. Proficient in IT systems and software relevant to legal practice management. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
