We are seeking a proactive and organised Private Client Legal Assistant to support our growing Private Client department.
The successful candidate will assist fee earners with a wide range of matters including Wills, Probate, Estate Administration, Trusts and Lasting Powers of Attorney. Duties
Supporting fee earners with all aspects of Private Client administration
Assisting with the preparation and management of probate and estate files
Liaising with clients, beneficiaries and third parties in a professional and compassionate manner
Preparing and organising documentation, correspondence and file notes
Learning to draft Wills and LPAs with ongoing training and supervision
General administrative duties such as file management, diary organisation and maintaining accurate records
Ideal Candidate:
Well-organised with strong attention to detail
Excellent communication and client-care skills
Able to manage workload efficiently and work to deadlines
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
Previous experience in Private Client work or legal administration is essential
