Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable qualified Private Client Fee Earner to join our esteemed legal practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Private Client work, including Wills, Trusts, Probate and Estate Administration. This role requires exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to provide tailored legal advice to clients, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and care.

Responsibilities

Provide expert legal advice on a range of Private Client matters, including Wills, Trusts, Probate, and Estate Administration. Draft and review legal documents with precision and attention to detail. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their individual needs and objectives. Manage a diverse caseload efficiently, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Liaise with third parties such as financial institutions, tax authorities, and other solicitors to facilitate client matters. Keep abreast of changes in legislation affecting private client work and implement necessary adjustments in practice, including own self development research and CPD. Assist in the training and development of junior staff members as required. Contribute to development of the business.

Skills

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in legal documentation. Proven ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Empathy and understanding when dealing with sensitive client situations. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to providing high-quality service. Experience in relevant tax planning and knowledge of relevant legislation is essential. Relevant registration with SRA/CILEX/STEP essential.
