Private Client Legal Secretary
to support a
fee earner within our Private Client team
and become an integral part of our day-to-day success.
This is a varied and people-focused role offering the chance to gain hands-on experience in Private Client law while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
One hour lunch break
The Role
Working closely with a
Private Client fee earner
, you will provide high-quality secretarial and administrative support, helping matters progress smoothly and ensuring clients receive an excellent service.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing secretarial and administrative support to a Private Client fee earner
Audio and copy typing of legal documents and correspondence
Managing diaries, appointments, and client meetings
Preparing and organising documentation for client matters
Opening, maintaining, and closing client files accurately
Communicating with clients, colleagues, and third parties in a professional and friendly manner
Assisting with general office administration as needed
Reception Support
While this is
not a full-time reception role
, there will be opportunities from time to time to lend a hand at reception to support our main receptionist and wider team.
This may include:
Welcoming clients and visitors when needed
Answering and directing incoming calls
Helping ensure the front office continues to run smoothly during busy periods or short absences
About You
Previous secretarial or administrative experience is
helpful but not essential
An interest in Private Client work is welcomed
Well organised with strong attention to detail
Friendly, professional, and confident in dealing with people
Comfortable supporting a fee earner and working as part of a close-knit team
Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office
Happy to be flexible and support the team when required
