We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our Private Client team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the probate process, as well as excellent organisational and communication skills. This role is essential in supporting our legal professionals by managing case files, conducting estate administration, and ensuring that all documentation is accurate and up to date.
Responsibilities
Assist in the administration of estates in probate cases.
Conduct legal research to support case preparation and provide summaries of findings.
Assist in the drafting of legal documents for probate applications.
Maintain and update client files, ensuring all information is accurate and accessible.
Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in cases.
Skills
Proficient in IT applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other office software.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently within tight deadlines.
A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in all documentation and communications.
Previous experience as a Paralegal or other role in a Private Client department
