Job description

This is a full-time (Part-time available to the right candidate), on-site role for a Private Client Solicitor or Cilex Lawyer, located in Blackpool. The role involves managing a caseload of private client matters, including Wills, Trusts, Estate Planning, Probate, contentious Probate, and Lasting Powers of Attorney. Daily responsibilities include drafting legal documents, providing legal advice, liaising with clients on various matters, and representing clients in Court of Protection or estate disputes, where applicable. Accurately record all time within the accounting software and keeping Clients informed of progression on matters. Uploading correspondence and communications to case management systems and keeping them updated for audit purposes. Writing out to all assets and liability organisations in a timely and efficient manner.
Due to the development and expansion of our Private Client department, we are now seeking to appoint an enthusiastic & technically strong Qualified Solicitor/ Cilex Lawyer to work alongside our highly reputable team.

The successful candidate will handle a caseload of complex wills, statutory wills, and administration of estates amongst other private client matters.

Qualifications

Expertise in Private Client Law, including Wills, Trusts, Probate, and Estate Planning Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organisational and client management skills Qualified Solicitor or Cilex Lawyer with relevant accreditations Commitment to providing client-centered, high-quality legal advice Able to handle and organise their own case load

The Candidate

Private Client Solicitor with post-qualification experience Ambitious and driven, with a proven record of technical knowledge Experience gained in a high street or regional firm Driving Licence (Full, clean and valid)
