Crawley, West Sussex, and the wider Surrey and Sussex region

About the Role

You'll manage a varied caseload covering all areas of Private Client law, including:

Wills and trusts Probate and contentious probate Lasting powers of attorney Inheritance tax Estate planning
You'll be expected to work independently while delivering a high standard of client service and maintaining the firm's excellent reputation for quality and care.

Key Responsibilities

Handle a full caseload of Private Client work independently Maintain accurate, compliant client files (both electronic and physical) Monitor and manage billing, time recording, and case profitability Identify and develop new business opportunities Ensure compliance with SRA regulations and other relevant legal standards Support and supervise junior team members as required Participate in training and continuous professional development activities

About You

To succeed in this role, you will:

Be a qualified

Solicitor

with

1-8 years' PQE

in Private Client law Have or be working towards a

STEP qualification

Be technically competent with strong attention to detail Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills Be commercially aware and proactive in business development Ideally have

local market knowledge

or an existing network in

Crawley or the surrounding Sussex/Surrey area
