About the Role

You'll manage a varied caseload covering all areas of Private Client law, including:

Wills and trusts Probate and contentious probate Lasting powers of attorney Inheritance tax Estate planning
You'll work independently while delivering an exceptional standard of client service and maintaining the firm's strong reputation for professionalism, quality, and care.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a full caseload of Private Client matters independently Maintain accurate and compliant client files (electronic and physical) Monitor and manage billing, time recording, and case profitability Identify and develop new business opportunities Ensure compliance with SRA regulations and firm policies Support and supervise junior team members where required Participate in training and continuous professional development activities

About You

To excel in this role, you will:

Be a qualified

Solicitor

with

1-8 years' PQE

in Private Client law Have or be working towards a

STEP qualification

Be technically competent with strong attention to detail Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills Be commercially aware and proactive in business development Ideally bring

local market knowledge

or an existing client network within

Leeds or the wider Yorkshire area
