About the Role

As a Private Client Solicitor, you will manage a diverse caseload covering all aspects of Private Client Law, including:

Wills and trusts Lasting powers of attorney Probate and contentious probate Inheritance tax Estate planning
You'll be expected to handle matters independently with confidence, accuracy, and a client-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities

Manage private client matters from instruction to completion Maintain accurate and compliant electronic and physical files Monitor billing and ensure effective financial control Identify business development opportunities Ensure compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules, SRA Code of Conduct, and Money Laundering Regulations Support and supervise junior members of the team when required Meet ongoing professional training and development targets

About You

The ideal candidate will:

Be a qualified Solicitor with 1-8 years' PQE in Private Client Law Hold or be working towards a STEP qualification Demonstrate strong technical knowledge and attention to detail Possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills Be commercially aware and proactive in business development Ideally have an existing network of contacts in the region
