The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of private client matters, including wills, trusts, and estate planning. This role requires exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients while providing tailored legal advice.
Duties
Advise clients on a range of private client matters, including wills, trusts, inheritance tax planning, and estate administration.
Draft legal documents such as wills, trust deeds, and powers of attorney with precision and attention to detail.
Conduct negotiations on behalf of clients to achieve favourable outcomes in estate disputes or other related matters.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with legal regulations and best practices.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and personalised service.
Stay updated on changes in legislation affecting private client work to provide informed advice.
Collaborate with other professionals, such as financial advisors and accountants, to deliver comprehensive solutions for clients.
Qualifications
Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with relevant experience in private client law.
Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to advocate effectively for clients.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on client service.
Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in private client matters is essential.
