What will you be doing?



We're seeking a talented individual to join our Private Client Tax team in London, which is responsible for managing the compliance and tax advice process for a client allocation. Supervise tax staff, assisting with client work and deal with technical and administrative issues.

As an Assistant Manager, your responsibilities will include among others



Prepare tax returns and in some cases review tax returns Manage HMRC enquiries and draft or review HMRC correspondence Responsibility for compliance work on clients and monitor time limits and elections for compliance portfolio Prepare complex tax computations and supervise preparation of simple tax computations Prepare reports for clients in relation ad hoc advisory matters Responsible for billing and monitoring budgets Knowledge share and maintain technical knowledge by attending internal training sessions Ensure relevant client deadlines are met and S&W procedures are adhered to Assist the partners with fee quotes and growing the business


Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should:



ATT qualified Knowledge of Private Client and Partnership Tax and some planning experience Strong IT skills including practical knowledge of Microsoft Office packages; Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint Good written communication skills are necessary to draft correspondence with clients and HMRC to explain technical issues in an easily understandable manner. Must have good inter-personal skills to be able to liaise with clients and other staff members
