About the Graduate Programme

Our CTA Private Client Tax Graduate Programme gives you the foundation to build a rewarding career in personal tax advisory.



You'll begin by supporting our Private Client Tax team with personal tax returns, capital gains tax calculations, and liaison with HMRC, learning how to navigate the full tax compliance process. Over time, you'll progress into advisory work, helping clients with tax planning, payments, and day-to-day queries.



Alongside hands-on experience, you'll study towards your Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) qualification, fully funded and supported by Ballards. You'll receive guidance from experienced mentors and managers as you develop technical knowledge, communication skills, and confidence in managing your own client relationships.

We're seeking motivated, personable graduates who are eager to learn and interested in how tax can make a real difference to people's financial lives.



If you're working towards or have achieved a 2:1 degree or higher in any discipline, and you're ready to start your journey in tax and advisory, we'd love to hear from you.
