A well-established practice located just outside Cambridge is seeking a motivated individual with experience in Trusts & Estates, or a private client background who wishes to specialise in this area. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of Trust and Estate clients while receiving support from an experienced team. Flexible and hybrid working arrangements are available, and part-time applications are welcomed (minimum 3 days per week).
Role Responsibilities
Prepare and manage annual Trust and Estate tax returns and accounts
Handle Inheritance Tax reporting and Trust Registration Service submissions
Assist with general Trust administration and advisory work
Support clients with HMRC enquiries and disclosures
Prepare 60-day Capital Gains Tax returns where required
Contribute to a collaborative team environment, sharing knowledge and expertise
Personal Requirements
Qualified by experience, or ATT, CIOT, or STEP membership (or working towards these qualifications)
Strong technical knowledge of Trusts & Estates or private client taxation
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to manage a varied portfolio of clients and meet deadlines
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Willingness to continue professional development and gain relevant qualifications
