What you'll be doing day to day

Lead complex tax advisory projects, including inheritance tax, succession planning, and restructuring of family-owned entities, coordinating input from legal and financial specialists
Assist and manage recurring compliance services as necessary to support clients
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building long-term relationships and delivering tailored, proactive advice
Support the firm in business development, identifying opportunities within existing client bases and attending relevant networking and industry events
Mentor and manage junior team members, providing technical guidance, feedback, and career development support
Monitor team performance, billing, and recoveries, ensuring work is delivered efficiently and profitably
Maintain high standards of compliance and risk management, ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements
About you
-------------
Previous Manager level experience in a tax compliance and advisory role
CTA qualified (or equivalent) with up-to-date technical knowledge (STEP, ACA or ACCA qualification is desirable)
Self-starting with good commercial and inter-personal skills
The ability to lead a team and inspire them to become the best advisors they can
Highly motivated with the ability to engage with clients with significant levels of wealth and with colleagues at all levels
Organised and able to plan time efficiently in order to meet deadlines
Demonstrates a creative approach to problem solving with a strong desire to succeed
In depth experience in using tax software programmes; plus, more advanced MS Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
