About the Role

We are looking for someone to join our Private Clients Division based in our offices in Plymouth. You will be joining a busy team of 12 based in various offices throughout the region, carrying out all aspects of personal lines insurance

The role will require someone to:

Administer Household, Motor, Residential Property Owners, Second Home and Travel polices from inception to renewal, including mid-term policy adjustments.
Identify and understand the customer's needs and requirements
Build relationships with customers and provide an ongoing service
Complete and offer all renewals and new business within the FCA guidelines
Completion of tasks in a timely manner
Ensure that all compliance requirements are recorded and reported as expected
Develop your own technical knowledge to achieve/maintain competence and maintain own training records

Skills and Knowledge - As a valuable member of our team, you will need:

Planning and Organisational skills
Personal Lines Insurance Technical Knowledge
Negotiation skills
General insurance experience
Customer service skills

About You

Ideally, we are looking for someone with Personal Lines Insurance experience, working with Insurers and our clients face to face and over the telephone, with knowledge of the Acturis Software system. We require the candidate to have strong customer service skills and an excellent telephone manner. We need someone with the ability to use their initiative and work to deadlines, whilst also being an active member of the team.
