We're looking for Private Cloud Infrascructure Specialists ( Automation Engineers) to join our Private Cloud Platform. You'll have a unique opportunity to be part of an ambitious team with the purpose of driving our tech modernisation agenda and enable us to become the biggest Fintech in the UK.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in database platform engineering and a passion for technology. Commitment to delivering high-quality, scalable solutions is a must. You will have worked hands-on with Oracle database technologies and bring your expertise to our specialist team.

On a day to day basis you will:
Lead or contribute to the architectural design of cloud platform technologies and products across our ecosystem.
You'll be hands-on, working on building and maintaining our private cloud products and services.
Be proficient in leading technical conversations with stakeholders of varying levels of technical background, including Senior Management and other Subject Matter Experts.
Be a great collaborator across internal, external, and 3rd party teams.
Drive best-in-class approaches to automation and security.
Have the ability to provide education and mentorship covering cloud engineering topics to support different teams on those topics, and drive upskilling.
Be an SME in a particular aspect of infrastructure engineering or product category.
What you'll need
Essential Skills
Proven experience as an Automation Engineer with Expert knowledge of Cloud Environments and tooling VCF/ARIA (vRA, vRO, vROPs, SALT)
Ability to write, troubleshoot and correct issues to exacting coding standards
Strong troubleshooting skills and support experience with automation technologies and tools.
Strong experience in writing technical design and support documentation.
Desirable skills:
Familiarity with automation tooling; Teraform, Ansible, GitHub
Good understanding of Virtualisation technologies and principals
Good understanding of Operating systems or Middleware/Databases (Windows & Linux or SQL, Postgres, MQ, WAS).
Good understanding of Networks / Firewall.
Experience of Service Design & associated methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Interviews for this role will take place on the 1st and 2nd December 2025.
