We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance. Provide excellent patient care by welcoming patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using IT systems. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols. Manage appointment schedules and assist with administrative tasks as needed. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Collaborate effectively with other dental professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Qualifications

Relevant nursing qualification or certification in dental nursing is preferred. Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and understanding. Proficient in English, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues. Excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. IT proficiency for maintaining patient records and managing scheduling systems.
