The LGT Capital Partners Private Equity Analyst Program is a unique opportunity for recent graduates to launch an exciting career with a leading alternative investment specialist focused on private markets.

The Analyst Program is structured as a 2-year full-time employment with the opportunity for outstanding candidates to continue their career at LGT Capital Partners. The position is located in London.
The anticipated start date is 1 July 2026 and the Program starts with a 3-weeks tailored training module and includes continuous on-the-job training.
Since inception in 1998, the primary team at LGT Capital Partners has been an active fund investor on a global basis, with deep local knowledge across Europe, US and Asia. With multi-billion in yearly commitments , we are one of largest and most reputable global allocators. You will join a team of investment professionals who assess and invest in private equity across Europe. It focuses on a variety of strategies but with an emphasis on emerging, small and mid-sized managers with strong ESG credentials and/or impact focus.
The Analyst joining the Manager Selection team will focus on developing the following core investment skills:Screening and due diligence of European private equity funds including participation in in-person due diligence meetings; in-depth assessment of underlying portfolio companies through quantitative modelling and analysis; project management from initial due diligence to final completion of private equity fund investments (incl. legal negotiations); qualitative and quantitative comparison and benchmarking of private equity fund managers; comparable company analysis, both using public and private company data; monitoring of existing fund investments, including participation in manager review meetings; market research and preparation of client-facing analyses.

RequirementsOutstanding academic credentials from a leading university at Bachelor or Master level in business, economics, finance, financial engineering, accounting, or similar subject; First internship experience in consulting, investment banking or private equity is beneficial; Strong Excel and financial modeling skills are of advantage; Interest in quantitative and qualitative analysis and evaluation of private equity funds and their underlying portfolio companies; Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team, with excellent written and oral English skills - other languages are a plus; Enjoying work in an entrepreneurial atmosphere, with curiosity and a good flair for organization.
