An outstanding opportunity has arisen at this traditional full service law firm, who have longstanding roots in the Merseyside area so therefore have a fantastic reputation & client base. There is an opportunity to come in and oversee a small family law team whilst also overseeing the team expansion.
You will need to have gained 5 years PQE and have the ability to run your own unsupervised caseload to include matters such as divorce, financial relief, children law, co-habitation disputes and matrimonial cases. You will also be expected to deal with your own advocacy. The client base in place is purely private, so business development will also be expected of you. There is an existing caseload in place, as well as referrals & repeat clients however this does need to be built on.
Your management duties will consist of supervision, training new staff, ensuring work quality remains high, setting targets, ensuring KPI's are met and recruitment of new staff. As this is a Head of Department role you will be working in conjunction with the Directors & Business Owners and formulating a plan to best grow the team and ensure profits are maintained.
You will be provided with support from the management team to help with business development and generating new work, as well as revisiting an existing client base however any added work you can bring would be welcomed and rewarded.
Salary is based on prior experience and will likely fall in the region of 40,000 - 55,000 with a bonus & benefits scheme in place. For a confidential chat and further information on this role, please contact Nick Skelly at QED Legal.
