Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for creating memorable experiences and a strong background in hospitality and event management. This role involves planning, executing, and overseeing various events, ensuring that every aspect runs smoothly and meets the expectations of our clients. We want to drastically increase our use of The Esholt Suite to appeal to a variety of customers, from live entertainment. conferences, dinner dances etc.

In addition, our recruitment process will prefer an individual with hospitality management skills to assist our GM in certain aspects of their role, ie some late nights, lock ups, opening up etc.

Responsibilities



Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including logistics, catering, venue selection, and guest services. Liaise with clients to understand their vision and requirements for each event. Manage budgets effectively while exploring opportunities for upselling additional services. Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to secure necessary resources for events. Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown to ensure seamless operations. Provide exceptional guest services during events, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
Maintain detailed records of event planning processes and client communications.

Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and improve future events. Assist sour GM in management duties. Bring fresh and innovative ideas. Link up wit function suppliers for extra support.

Skills



Experience in hospitality management with bar & food service. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent time management skills to ensure deadlines are met without compromising quality. Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, and team members. Previous experience in bars, restaurants or hotels is a must. Knowledge of fundraising principles is a plus for coordinating charity events. A background in hospitality will enhance the ability to provide exceptional guest experiences. Ability to upsell services creatively while maintaining client satisfaction.
