As a School Transport Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of students to and from school. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who value safety, punctuality, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely transport students to and from school, adhering to scheduled pick-up and drop-off times.

- Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers during transit.

- Maintain a clean and well-kept vehicle at all times.

- Follow all traffic laws and regulations, demonstrating safe and courteous driving practices.

- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and Kessingland Kabs Ltd management.

- Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any maintenance needs.

- Manage and document any incidents or issues that occur during transport.

Requirements:

- Must possess an East Suffolk Council Private Hire License or have the ability to obtain one.

- Previous experience in a driving role, preferably with school transportation, is advantageous.

- Excellent driving record with no major violations.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Reliable, punctual, and responsible attitude.

- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Licensing and Funding:

- Applicants must have or be willing to obtain an East Suffolk Council Private Hire License. Should you require funding to obtain this license, Kessingland Kabs Ltd can arrange financial support through a contractual agreement with the company.
