Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and professional Taxi Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting passengers safely and efficiently to their desired destinations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and maintaining a clean vehicle.

Duties

Drive passengers to various locations in a safe and timely manner. Maintain knowledge of local streets, traffic patterns, and points of interest. Communicate effectively with passengers to ensure a pleasant journey. Assist passengers with heavy lifting of luggage or personal items as needed. Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and in good working order. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Handle payment transactions accurately and provide receipts when requested. Report any vehicle issues or accidents immediately to management.

Skills

Strong communication skills to interact positively with passengers. Experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting passengers with their belongings. Familiarity with driving vans or larger vehicles is beneficial. Proven ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanour under pressure. Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with local routes. A valid driving licence and a clean driving record are essential.
