We are seeking professional, dependable, and customer-focused private hire taxi drivers to join our established team. This position offers structured daily shift work with set hours, ensuring clarity and consistency in your working schedule. In addition to your regular duties, successful applicants will also be allocated school contract responsibilities, which form an integral & important part of our service provision and require punctuality, reliability, and a strong sense of professionalism.

Furthermore, our company holds long-standing relationships with several business and corporate account clients who regularly utilize our services. As part of this role, drivers will be expected to support these clients as required, providing a high standard of service and maintaining the reputation of the organization. These responsibilities will run alongside your usual shift pattern, contributing to your earnings further and providing a varied and well-rounded working routine.

This role is well suited to individuals who take pride and value working within a structured and supportive operational environment.

Badges required, SKDC Hackney or Private Hire, Rutland Private Hire, Boston Private Hire alternatively we can assist in applicants obtaining the relevant authority license subject to successful interview.

Responsibilities

Drive passengers to various locations in a timely manner while adhering to all traffic regulations. Maintain a clean and well-organized vehicle, ensuring it is in good working condition. Assist passengers with heavy lifting of luggage or other items when required. Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage and passenger details. Conduct routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is safe for operation. Handle payment transactions efficiently and provide receipts as necessary.

Experience

Previous experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver is preferred but not essential. A valid driving license with the appropriate category for operating a taxi is required. Enhanced DBS check will be required as part of the Licensing process Familiarity with local roads and traffic patterns is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with diverse passengers. Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations while ensuring passenger safety.
