Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor for a full time home schooling position. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to educating and supporting a 14 year old student in their academic journey. The tutor will enhance their understanding of various subjects, providing tailored instruction that meets individual learning needs. The Tutor will play a crucial role in fostering a positive learning environment and helping students achieve their educational goals.

Responsibilities

Educate students in specific subjects, ensuring comprehension and retention of material. Develop customised lesson plans that cater to the unique learning styles and needs of the student. Communicate effectively with student, parents, and educators to track progress and address any concerns. Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes confidence and motivation in learners. Assess student performance regularly and provide constructive feedback to facilitate improvement. Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, including attendance and progress reports.

Qualifications

Proven experience in home tutoring or teaching Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information. A patient, empathetic approach to teaching that encourages student participation. Relevant qualifications in education or a related field are essential.
To be considered for this role you must;

1. Have 5+ years of experience working as a qualified teacher

2. Have a valid passport

3. Flexible to travel

4. Confident Driver

5. Be fluent in English Language

6. Be eligible to work within the UK

7. Have (/be willing to get) an up-to-date DBS certificate

8. 12 hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate

An ideal candidate will be highly creative, kind and caring with good energy but with a firm professional approach. Driving licence - essential.

The family has a full-time housekeeper and Nanny. Your sole job will be to educate their child
