Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality 1-to-1 piano lessons, including music theory. Provide constructive feedback to students after each session. Keep clear and accurate records of lessons and student progress. Stay informed about changes in piano and music theory syllabi. Work with colleagues when exploring new teaching methods or approaches. Commit to the agreed lesson schedule and maintain reliability.
How You Can Shine in This Role

A genuine enthusiasm for teaching and supporting learners. Strong subject expertise in piano and music theory. The ability to connect with students and parents, building trust and rapport.

To be considered, you must:

Have

a minimum of 5 years' piano tutoring experience.

Either live locally to Edgware

or

hold a valid UK driver's licence and have access to a car for in-home lessons. Be patient, empathetic, and emotionally intelligent, with the ability to connect with young learners and families. Show excellent time management and organisational skills. Communicate confidently in both written and spoken English. Possess strong knowledge of piano pedagogy, repertoire, and teaching techniques.
