Salary range: 50,574 - 53,607 p.a. inc. London weighting
Contract: Permanent
Hours of work: 36 hours per week
Location: Civic centre and other locations from time to time

A Leadership Opportunity to Change Lives



We are looking for an experienced and dynamic leader to:


Manage a team of officers responsible for increasing the supply of affordable accommodation for homeless households and processing contract payments to suppliers Provide effective procurement and contract management of commissioned services
In this fast-paced and dynamic role, you will:


Oversee the procurement of accommodation, ensuring its quality and compliance with legal and health and safety standards Manage budgets relevant to property procurement ensuring best value and financial efficiency Ensure compliance with homelessness legislation Foster a flexible, person-centred approach, recognizing that every household's needs are unique Lead, develop, and inspire your team, ensuring they have the skills and confidence to deliver exceptional outcomes for our residents

You will also need:


A strong understanding of procurement, commissioning and contract management Comprehensive knowledge of homelessness legislation and case law Proven experience in leading and managing a successful team Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills A people-focused approach, with a commitment to delivering an exceptional service Effective communication is key in this role, as well as the ability to interact confidently with the various stakeholders
