Job Purpose:
The Private Treatment Manager will play a key role in driving private growth within the Gloucester site. This position is responsible for overseeing all elements of the private patient journey--from enquiry to treatment completion--while ensuring the seamless coordination between clinicians, Treatment Coordinators (TCOs), reception, and clinical support staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Private Growth & Patient Journey
Champion and develop all aspects of the private patient journey, ensuring exceptional experiences from first contact to follow-up.
Identify and act on growth opportunities to increase private treatment uptake, including dental implants, Aligners, composite bonding, and other high-value services.
Work closely with the marketing team to generate, monitor and convert private leads and external referrals.
Team Leadership & Coordination
Oversee and support the on-site TCO/Scan Nurse, ensuring they are effectively utilised and delivering consistent results.
Work closely with reception to ensure they are informed, engaged, and actively contributing to private conversion.
Collaborate with private dentists to maintain well-managed, productive diaries with minimal gaps and high case conversion.
Run weekly catch-ups with the team to align on private growth targets, diary utilisation, and current patient leads.
Diary & Workflow Management
Take ownership of private dentist diaries, ensuring appropriate time is allocated for consults, scans, treatments, and follow-ups.
Review clinician availability regularly to maximise booking opportunities and reduce unutilised clinical time.
Admin & Reporting
Monitor and report on private performance, lead conversion rates, TCO clinic activity, and other relevant KPIs.
Ensure all patient finance applications, recalls, and treatment plans are processed accurately and timely.
Keep accurate records of patient communications, consultations, and treatment status.

Highly organised with strong diary and time management ability
Confident in handling patient interactions and managing expectations
Able to motivate and coordinate cross-functional teams
Sales-minded with a focus on growth and performance
Desirable Experience:
Previous experience in dental practice management or private treatment coordination
Familiarity with dental CRM/lead systems such as Dentally, Dengro, or similar
Experience managing or supporting clinicians and/or front of house teams
