Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Violin Teacher to join our team based in Orpington BR5. As a musical Teacher, you will have the opportunity to share your love for music with students and help them develop their musical skills. This is a rewarding position that allows you to make a positive impact on the lives of aspiring musicians.

Duties:
- Provide one-to-one violin lessons to students of various ages and skill levels at dedicated home studio
- Develop individualized lesson plans based on students' goals and abilities
- Teach proper violin technique, music theory, and sight-reading skills
- Select appropriate repertoire for students to practice and perform
- Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback
- Prepare students for examinations (ABRSM) from beginners to grade 8/diploma
- Maintain a safe and positive learning environment

Skills:
- Proficient in playing the violin with a strong understanding of music theory
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient and able to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
- Organized and able to plan lessons effectively
- Ability to motivate and inspire students to reach their full potential

You must have a Bachelors Degree/Masters in violin performance and previous teaching experience in ABRSM syllabus. You must also ensure your knowledge of examination requirements is up to date as well as giving student assessments / feedback where necessary.
