Join our growing business as a Private Water Engineer
We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual looking for a career to join our family run business in the private water industry. We design, install, and maintain private water systems where mains supplies are either not available, cost effective or if a private supply is simply preferred. Our customer base includes domestic, commercial, and agricultural and we operate on a variety of different sites and locations. We also work in all aspects of private water systems including many different types of pumps, control and filtration. Our office is based between Bideford and Holsworthy, and we work right across Devon, and we also branch into Somerset and Cornwall. We specialise in supplying top quality and reliable private water systems, priding ourselves in providing an excellent service to our customers.
We are seeking a new engineer, who has experience in the trade or a background in plumbing, electrics, mechanics, or engineering. Practical skills, a good attitude to work and a willingness to learn are required and an attention to detail and a high standard of work are an absolute must. The job itself is physically active, offering a different type of work every day and can involve driving long distances. Both lone and team working are required, and inhouse training will be given. The candidate must also hold a full clean driving licence. We also offer future progression where we can, utilising your individual skills and using them to the best of your ability.
The starting salary will be dependent on the individual candidates' skills and is reviewed after the initial 3-month trial period and regularly thereafter on employee improvements. Working hours are 8am-5pm Monday to Friday and overtime is available. On call weekends work on a pro-rata basis, which offer a Friday off when responsibility of the mobile phone is taken. We offer plenty of benefits and are always striving to offer our employees more.
