Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced

Privileged Access Management (PAM) Consultant

on a contract basis (INSIDE IR35, Hybrid ) for our client to lead the assessment and strategic planning of PAM solutions within a complex hosting infrastructure. The role involves evaluating existing access control mechanisms, identifying risks associated with over-privileged accounts, and recommending scalable PAM solutions across diverse platforms and on-premises environments.

Responsibilities & Requirements (Single Set of Bullet Points):



Having at least 10+ years of experience. Conduct assessments of internal infrastructure to identify privileged access risks and provisioning gaps Analyze and enhance access control models using RBAC, ABAC, and least privilege principles Design scalable PAM architectures and strategies to support secure access delegation Evaluate PAM solutions (CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Delinea) for scalability, integration, and technical fit Provide guidance on credential vaulting, session monitoring, access workflows, and policy enforcement Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and operations teams to align PAM initiatives with business needs Create architecture diagrams, risk assessments, and implementation roadmaps Support PoCs and pilot deployments to validate solution effectiveness Bring hands-on experience with Windows, Linux, Solaris, and AIX platforms Demonstrate familiarity with Active Directory, LDAP, SSH key management, and service account governance Apply knowledge of identity federation, directory services, and authentication protocols (Kerberos, SAML, OAuth) Use scripting tools (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) to support automation and discovery tasks Maintain strong documentation and presentation skills for both technical and executive stakeholders Possess certifications in PAM technologies (e.g., CyberArk Defender/Sentry, BeyondTrust Certified) Understand compliance standards including ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, and NIST
