Join our Production team in Nottingham as a Process Biotechnologist.


Do you have production or manufacturing experience, with a good knowledge of mechanical assembly techniques? If so, this is a great opportunity for a Process Biotechnologist to join a close knit production team, producing biopharmaceutical products adhering to GMP guidelines following SOPs whilst using state of the art equipment. The site is expanding so it's a great time to join the team to further your career.


The team consists of 6 professionals and we are looking forward to shaping the future with you. This position is full-time, based at our site in Nottingham just a short walk from the city centre, train station and tram stop.


The role requires working a 12.5 hour day, a well-balanced shift pattern to cover a 24 hour production schedule (day shift 7am - 7.30pm, night shift 7pm - 7.30am). You will be working 2 or 3 consecutive days with days off in between; on occasions you will have 6 days off at one time. Further information will be provided upon application.

Grow with us - Your Responsibilities

Operate manufacturing equipment to carry out the cGMP production of Biopharmaceuticals Production processing; incorporating Fermentation, Cell Separation, Chromatography, Final Ultrafiltration and In-process Sampling and Analysis Preparation and Operation of all Equipment following SOP's and PCD's Calibration of instruments and plant maintenance tasks as required during processing or during maintenance shutdown periods Complete all documentation required to GDP Assist in closure of operations related IOD's, CR's and CAPA Filter control and integrity testing Use of the production autoclave Manual handling and physically demanding activities at times (i.e., lifting 25kg bags of salts, sugar and more)
