Process Engineer



We are seeking a proactive and problem-solving Process Engineer to join our manufacturing business in Brigg.

Working as part of the Manufacturing Engineering team, and in conjunction with other departments, you will be responsible for continually improving our processes within the door assembly, frame assembly and glass shop departments to achieve higher levels of safety, quality, delivery & cost performance.

Key Responsibilities



To be a subject matter expert for the departments in question Lead problem solving events, using a structured format/tools to establish root cause and implement corrective actions. Lead kaizen events/ improvement projects utilising lean and project management tools Work closely with Front Line Leadership and operators to identify problems/ opportunities, create business cases and gain buy in from stakeholders. Develop and introduce systems to enable us to be more efficient. Work closely with Front Line Leadership and operators to develop & maintain process documentation (standardized work, SOP's, control plans, FMEA's etc) Train & coach Front Line Leadership and operators on the use of lean tools Work with Front line leadership to develop KPI's and data collection techniques Monitor & analyse performance metrics for trends and proactively take countermeasures. Continuously drive our manufacturing processes toward world class/true north standards Support the introductions on new products and equipment

What You Bring



Knowledge/Experience of assembly lines and processes. Experience of CAD(2D & 3D) would be beneficial Mechanical/Manufacturing degree or equivalent time served. Experience & Knowledge of lean Manufacturing, supporting qualification would be advantageous. Experience of working in a manufacturing environment, in partnership with the production teams
