To support process engineering matters connected with the development, Industrialisation, and routine manufacture of pharmaceutical products. To provide engineering support and identify process improvements within manufacturing to ensure that processes operate to the highest standards of effectiveness, efficiency, safety and compliance. Provide technical engineering expertise using established troubleshooting tools & techniques and support problem solving.

and Responsibilities

• To provide support to manufacturing and engineering personnel on all process engineering issues relating to the design, specification and operation of process systems which may affect safety, product quality or regulatory compliance.
• To participate in departmental or cross functional projects. Ensure that requirements for process engineering work are properly specified and essential deliverables identified resulting in tangible benefits in drug product process efficacy and sustainability and commercial effectiveness being delivered to the company.
• To ensure that process engineering design and investigation work is carried out by appropriately qualified organisation/individuals and results are properly documented and approved.
• To set standards for process engineering which ensure that safe and reliable and sustainable manufacture of its drug products in accordance with cGMP and Recipharm Holmes Chapel procedures.
• To evaluate processes in development and routine operations, identify opportunities for continuous improvement and define any changes required.
• Provide technical engineering expertise using established troubleshooting tools & techniques. Support problem solving and investigation activities within Manufacturing to resolve issues relating to process performance. Including appropriate recording and presentation of data. Provide support for decommissioning and recommissioning activities during maintenance shutdowns/project activities.
• Ensuring that any requirement for a process engineering change is correctly specified
• Preparation of various engineering deliverables (Drawings & Documents) such as Process Flow Diagrams, P & I Diagrams, Process Datasheets, Equipment Specifications, Cause and Effect Diagrams, control philosophies, shutdown philosophies, HAZOP Studies and reports, operation and maintenance manuals etc. and providing necessary engineering inputs to the other disciplines and other departments.
• To provide proper guidance on relevant subject matter, ensuring good, positive & healthy working nature among a team of engineers / technical specialists to ensure optimum productivity and efficiency.
• Preparation and Issue of RFQ\'s, evaluation of vendor\'s quotations, clarifications, Technical Bid Analysis etc.
• Review of vendor\'s documents, drawings, datasheets, specifications and calculations
