Job Description

This is an excellent role for someone who has just left university or finished a placement and has been studying an Engineering based degree or wanting a career in a fast paced manufacturing environment. An opportunity to be a Plant Leader of the future.



Based in the Engineering Office on our production factory floor, this is a days role, 8.00 a.m. until 4.00 p.m. Tuesday to Thursday inclusive and 8.00 a.m. until 3.30 p.m. on Mondays and Fridays with a 30 minute break for lunch.



25 days holiday plus Bank holidays.



EXCELLENT SALARY PACKAGE



Up to 39,400 based on experience plus annual AIB bonus shceme of 3.5%

Main Purpose of the Position



To provide production information, analysis, continuous improvement and communications to deliver KPI improvements across the site.



To provide effective production and systems analysis, planning, communication and process support to the Production Manager and Senior Management team to focus on, communicate and prioritise the delivery of key plant KPIs and metrics. Key will be to develop an effective communication platform to support this. As a highly effective organiser, process and data analyst, and communicator you will have a passion for continual improvement, delivering high sustainability of systems and high standards.



Key Responsibilities:



Provide process data analysis and a communication strategy to clearly focus on KPIs and PIs to deliver the sites performance targets.

Identify trends and use data to deliver KPI opportunities.

Implement a communication platform to quickly and effectively transfer data and information to decision makers.

Provide process support to the Production Manager, Shift Management Teams, Engineering Manager and when required the Senior Management Team.

Co-ordinate planning and communication for the production and engineering teams including the presentation of information.

Scope and identify and action improvement projects, transfer learnings and opportunities across the teams to ensure a sustainable operation.

Manage the disciplined execution of action logs and responsibilities for completion of tasks by attending production and engineering meetings.

Manage the disciplined execution and adherence of the Routine Management System across the operational teams.

Ensure adherence to regulatory reviews of safety and production systems to ensure compliance by effective management control.

Manage the Production and Engineering KPI communication plan across site for all functions.

Manage, track and monitor materials, consumptions and supplies for packaging, quality and engineering.

Qualifications



English, Maths, Science/Engineering



Languages



English both written and verbal (other languages would be an advantage)



Computer Skills



Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office packages and data analysis tools
