Role Overview
We're seeking a Process Engineer who thrives at the intersection of design and production. You'll guide our lift systems from R&D prototypes to full production, embedding quality, consistency, and lean thinking at every stage. This role is pivotal in translating engineering intent into reliable assembly execution--ensuring design changes are validated, tooling is fit-for-purpose, and our production flow is built on solid engineering principles.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the transition of products from R&D prototypes to pre-production and full-scale manufacturing
Collaborate with the Technical Director and Technical Manager to ensure design integrity and production scalability
Evaluate assembly team feedback and validate proposed design changes from a holistic engineering perspective
Champion the use of correct--and where possible, improved--tooling across manufacturing stations
Drive Lean activities and embed a culture of daily improvement within production teams
Conduct PFMEA, cycle durability, and vibration testing to ensure robust processes
Monitor KPIs and implement initiatives to reduce waste, improve takt time, and optimise production resilience
Support IATF16949 transition with structured documentation and process validation.
Experience
Have strong experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment
Are fluent in Lean methodology and hands-on implementation practices
Can think modularly, engineer pragmatically, and communicate decisively
Know how to engage production teams while maintaining technical authority
Take pride in proactively validating tooling choices, work instructions, and process controls
Qualifications
Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field preferred)
Lean certification or significant practical Lean experience is a strong advantage
Familiarity with ISO9001 or IATF16949 is a bonus

Monday - Thursday 06:40am - 16:45pm
